Where it comes from, how it's made

The chef walks you through the part you'd never see: the process behind a dish, the farm down the road the vegetables came from, the why behind how it tastes.

An experience, not a reservation.
Dinner, conversation, and the story behind the plate. A curated table of new friends who'll enjoy the night together, the way you'd share a concert.
In this fast-paced world, we're all craving connection these days. But the harder you chase it, the more it slips away.
So at Tableside, we don't. We set a beautiful table, share the story behind the food, and let the evening do the rest. Somewhere between the first pour and the last bite, connection finds its own way to the table. No pressure, no expectation. Some nights simply stay with you. Others turn into friendships you never saw coming.
Either way, you leave a little fuller than you came, and not only from the meal.

Where it came from, why it's on the menu, who decided it mattered. At Tableside you're close enough to hear it, straight from the people who cook it.

Come on your own or bring a friend or two. Order what you want off the menu. You'll share the night with people who showed up for the same reason you did. The food and the story give you plenty to talk about.
A story is what stays with you: the food, the night, the people you heard it with. No two tables are alike. Here's the kind of thing that might happen at yours.

The chef walks you through the part you'd never see: the process behind a dish, the farm down the road the vegetables came from, the why behind how it tastes.

The owner tells you how it started: a trip to Oaxaca, recipes learned at family tables, and the urge to bring them home. Suddenly the menu makes a different kind of sense.

A taste no one else in the room is getting: an off-menu bite or a special pour, sent out just for your table.
Nashville's best chefs have a story behind the food. You hear it at a shared table, and that story becomes the night you remember, and the one you'll want to tell.

They almost always came down to the same thing: a kitchen full of people who clearly loved what they were making, and someone willing to tell you the story behind it. That's who I'm building Tableside with: Nashville restaurants that pour themselves into a night on purpose. I'd love for you to be at one of the first tables.
We bring in a curated group who came for exactly what makes your place special: the story and a dish you're proud of. You share it; we handle the guests, the timing, and the feedback. And because they came for the experience, they're the kind of people who go home and talk about it.
You clearly have something worth sharing. This is the table that came to hear it.
Absolutely. Most people do. You can come solo, bring a date, or bring a friend or two. We keep the table mixed enough that it feels social from the first minute, and there's a host to keep things easy.
Around eight people. Big enough that you don't have to click with everyone, small enough that it still feels like one conversation.
Free to join, and you pay the restaurant's regular menu prices with no markup on the food. Dinners are $10 each, or $15 a month for unlimited, and members earn 5% back toward their next table.
Curating the right group at the right table, and making the night run smoothly, takes real organizational work. The $10 covers those costs and helps us keep improving the experience and opening new tables. Come often? The $15 a month membership covers unlimited dinners. And if you'd like to gift the experience to someone, gift cards are coming soon.
No. It's a group setting built around a great meal and a story, not a one-on-one date. Connection is just what tends to happen when people share a really good night.
Soon. We're lining up our first restaurants now and seating Nashville a few tables at a time. Join the list and you'll be among the first invited.
